Last week, the talented Stephanie Bouchet shared her experiences of the mysterious and remote continents - Arctic and Antarctica - with an exhibition of her fascinating photographic documentation of these expeditions.
All ticket sales from the opening evening were donated to Sighsavers, and as a result, Stephanie's efforts prevented 125 people from going blind. Congratulations Stephanie!

Noise Kids, an exhibition born of Adam Green’s desire to paint noise, was a collaboration between musicians Fionn Regan, Peter Doherty, and of course, Adam Green himself.
Curated by gallerist George Annin, the private view saw live performances from both Adam and Fionn, as well as Martin Creed.

Welcome back Uniform Wares! As part of the London Design Festival, Uniform Wares set up shop at 81 Leonard Street to celebrate the launch of their 104 Series and 351 Series watches.
The exhibition, 12 Details, was a collaboration with fine art photographer Jim Naughten, and a testament to their dedication in designing these unique timepieces - it's all in the Details!
To read more about the exhibition and view the collections, head to the Uniform Wares website.
Congratulations, Uniform Wares, on another successful exhibition at 81 Leonard Street. It was a pleasure having you here again.

Last Thursday, High Fashion Society held an American Vintage Victory party at 81 Leonard Street to showcase their collection of authentic vintage designer clothing and accessories.
After some exciting press in the lead-up to the evening, the event was eagerly anticipated and the team had been working hard, decking out 81 Leonard Street for a luxury, vintage 4th of July party! Rails of designer clothes, Americana-style snacks and heaps of Stars and Stripes flags set the scene, complete with tunes from a retro Jukebox upstairs. To complete the luxury look, hair and make-up makeovers were being given by the stylists upstairs and there was a photographer on hand to take pictures of all the very fashionable guests.

Pets Pyjamas, one of the Just Add Red companies housed at 81 Leonard Street, threw a drinks reception in the gallery for some bloggers - and their canine friends were invited too! The gallery was filled with comfy dog and owner-friendly seating, and a large, colourful display of Pets Pyjamas' accessories and products. Themed cocktails (anyone for a Woof Woof or a Feline Fizz?) were on offer and the dogs were taken care of too with some tasty, organic treats from Doggy Bags Bakery.
While owners chatted, the dogs too had a chance to make new friends and have fun playing in the gallery. Doggie grooming and makeovers were on offer so they looked extra special to have their picture taken by our photographer. Held on one of the first gloriously sunny days of the year, the event was a buzzing, busy success and enjoyed by both humans and dogs alike! For more information on Pets Pyjamas, see their website: PetsPyjamas.com.

The lovely people from the Grinberg Method chose 81 Leonard Street as the location for them to hold free, 20 minute tasters of their tension-releasing massages. Thanks to some promotional work with local offices and social media, the day was a huge success and the session providers were fully booked all day! Luckily, there was prosecco on hand to be sipped as visitors waited for their session and awareness was raised of both the Grinberg Method and the beautiful space we have here at 81 Leonard Street.

The Digital Shoreditch 2013 festival has been running in the area for the last couple of weeks and, as part of that, we hosted an Open Studio for The Brew on Tuesday 28th May.
Delegates from Digital Shoreditch and some of The Brew's own guests joined us at 81 Leonard Street for some 80s-themed fun. With drinks, retro nibbles and videogames, everyone enjoyed some mid-week networking and guests were able to go on tours of The Brew's nearby spaces.
It was great to see so many people from local companies in the gallery and, as is to be expected at an 80s night, the soundtrack for the evening was fantastic!

Last night, Shaw Contract Group showcased their Dye Lab collection at 81 Leonard Street by transforming the gallery into an elegant and stylish showroom, with prints demonstrating the inspiration behind the collection adorning the walls, and plush carpet tiles creating intricate patterns and designs.
The evening was celebrated in style with flowing bubbly, fruit infused cocktails, delicious gourmet italian cuisine, and lively Cuban beats - the recipe for a perfect evening in anyone's books, I'm sure!
